The Winston couple, who had been married for 44 years witnessed a bizarre phenomenon in their own house. They were no strangers to their own home having stayed there for over half of that time.
In Atlanta, Georgia, just before midnight on September 8, 1987, 77-year-old Minnie Winston was taking a shower in her Atlanta home.
She stepped out after taking a shower and something stopped her mid-way, she found blood-like droplets on the floor.
Unsure about it she touched the droplets and found what appeared to be blood splattered on the floor. She rushed to fetch her 79-year-old husband, William. They also didn’t have any pets and lived alone together.
The House of Blood
Together, they searched for the possibility of blood inside the house. They wondered whether a small animal had been wounded in the house.
On further investigation, they both found blood-like fluid on the bathroom walls and the walls in most of the rooms, hallways, kitchen, and inaccessible crawl spaces in the basement too.
The blood was even there in the narrow hard-to-reach crawlspace that neither many nor Winstons could reach at their respective ages.
Blood was found under the objects and a television set. William started looking around the house and it became clear that it was not the blood of an animal that spoiled the vicinity of their home.
As he found blood percolating from almost every corner of the house. They haven’t encountered anything like this before in their rented house and the couple was terrified.
They decided to clean it up. But after repeatedly cleaning they again found blood splattered everywhere the very next day.
Unable to rectify the strange phenomenon, and with blood continuing to create a mess every day, Minnie and William finally called the police.
