Massacre Rock, is the place where April’s boyfriend suggested that they go on a night trip. He would bring a tent, coats, and blankets for them to stay warm.
He also promised that they would be back before 8 a.m. so that her mother would never know that she had spent the night out.
April didn’t think twice: She grabbed her things, and after making sure her mom was asleep, she escaped through her window.
April soon arrived at the forest, right at the place where she and her boyfriend had planned. The tent was already set up but nobody was there.
April went into the tent, and for two hours, she waited for her boyfriend to come back. When she saw he wasn’t coming, she got really worried and decided to go out and look for him.

She didn’t have to walk too far away when she started to hear faint whistles. April followed those whistles until she reached a river’s shore.
It’s as if the whistles were coming from inside the water. She thought she was going crazy.
She bent down to make sure and suddenly, a hand emerged from the water, grabbing her from her hair, and pulled her into the water to drown her.
April managed to escape, but not without losing a good chunk of hair. When she looked up, she was terrified to see humanoid youngsters with a strange amphibian look.

She went for the only option available to her: running into the forest and finding a way to escape. April reached the tent, and there she remembered she hadn’t found her boyfriend yet.
She locked herself in, turned on a flashlight, and waited while praying that nothing bad had happened to him. She wanted him to finally show up so they could both leave.
April started hearing whistles again. She turned off the flashlight to not give away her location but the whistles were getting closer and louder.
They stopped just outside of the tent. The door opened slowly until she recognized that face…”Hey, you arrived earlier than I expected!”, said the boyfriend.
April told him what just happened but he didn’t believe her. It seems that he had arrived earlier to prepare a surprise for her, and she had gotten the wrong time.

They had a picnic just as they had planned, although April wouldn’t stop insisting on leaving. Once midnight came, the cold pushed them to cover up in the tent.
And when they were about to fall asleep the whistles came back. April scared out of her mind, tried to convince her boyfriend to run out of there.
However, he told her to wait, as he would go out to see what it was. She begged him to stay but he didn’t listen.
That was the last time April saw her boyfriend. His disappearance was reported a few hours later. The search teams investigated the entire river and its surroundings but he wasn’t found.
Then one day, a family that was spending a day by the river saw a body floating in there. The police identified him as April’s boyfriend and found his body filled with bites and signs of strangulation.
