In a bizarre set of circumstances, horrifying CCTV footage captured by a nature lover in Canada has caught social media by storm.

A woman, who set a security cam inside her property, inadvertently captured terrifying footage that shows “two witches performing a carcass-eating ritual on a dead animal.”

What Transpired the Event?

Corinea Stanhope, a 36-year-old nature lover, came across a deer carcass that she found lying inside her property in Powell River, Canada.

She thought that it may help her to keep an eye on the wildlife near her property. So she set up the camera to check if any wild animal would be allured by the dead deer.

Her 76-year-old grandfather also joined her in setting up a trail camera to see the wild activities around. Soon they got footage of a few animals.

“We captured a bobcat [on trail camera], which was pretty awesome,” Stanhope said.

But they didn’t know that the next footage would literally scare the hell out of them.

Stanhope said that her grandfather was horrified after he checked the footage the next morning.

He immediately called her and explained what appears to be two women feasting on the carcass at night.

“I came the next day, and Grandpa said we caught some weird people on the camera, and I said, “No, really? Let me see”

When she saw the footage she was deeply disturbed. “I do not know what I really saw. It truly freaked us out, it’s not something you experience every day.”

Stanhope confirmed that she was completely freaked out because the incident transpired just a two-minute walk from her house.

She said that she was worrying about the safety of her horses.

“I was concerned about them meddling with my horses at night. The horses always get really afraid and unnerved around that area.

I supposed they conjured stuff at first, so I didn’t think anything of it. Perhaps I believe them now,” she said.

Conclusions

A lot of people here mentioned about few creatures like skinwalkers and wendigos. There are rumors around town about a cult that performs rituals and collects animal bones.

“I do not know if it’s real or not. The horses always get really startled around that area,” she added.

She said, “The footage is too disturbing to describe and you can’t really tell from the photos, but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth. You can not really see whether she was kissing it, snuffing, or consuming it, but to feel a decaying corpse like that makes me feel sick. Imagine the number of bacteria that must have been on there.”

“Or perhaps they were paying their felicitations, but they were weird,” she said.

Witches Eating Deer Carcass or a Prank?

After Stanhope shared the photos online, the social media erupted. Many speculated it was a satanic or paranormal element.

While some people said that they are hoping that the incident would just be a prank video or reel, or maybe that those women would be high on some really good drugs.

“That’s basically a satanic ritual and you should move ASAP,” wrote a user.

“If you encounter these witches, just stay inside and don’t come out at night,” another said.

“If it were me I would be loading my guns,” another user.

What is a Carcass-eating Ritual?

Witches are generally seen as people who are specifically active after sunset, when the mortals are asleep.

According to customary Navajo belief, when a witch travels at night, he/she wears the skin of a dead beast in order to effect a metamorphosis into that beast.

These “skinwalkers” hold nocturnal gatherings at which they wear a mask, sit among the corpses, and feast on them.

In some cultures witches are believed to congregate in cannibal packs, frequently at graveyards or around a fire, to feast on the blood that they, like vampires, which they extract from their prey.

What Do You Think?

Whatever the truth is, the fact is the images we all see are not normal, and encountering these visuals for real would definitely drench you in your own sweat.

Witches caught in camera eating a carcass in Canada would surely be a hot topic for months.

What do you think? Is it a prank or really a ritual? Are witches and witchcraft real?

In other news, a man caught an explicit footage when he set up a ghost cam in his house.
